A prolific actor with multiple nominations to her credit be it BAFTA, Golden Globes, or Oscars, Cindy was a face that brought smiles to many!
Her most memorable character was Shirley Feeney on the sitcom Laverne & Shirley as it was aired on TV for many years and with reruns, she became a favorite of another generation when watched later!
She was not only a face of tv, her movies were loved and nominated many times. Be it American Graffiti or The Conversation! Cindy Williams rocked the seventies with her palpable performances.

Cindy starred opposite the late Penny Marshall. She played the role of Shirley and they were comedy actors showing how women who were roommates struggled daily while waiting for Mr.Right.
Williams' children, Zak and Emily Hudson released a statement without revealing the disease details.
"The passing of our kind, hilarious mother, Cindy Williams, has brought us insurmountable sadness that could never truly be expressed," read the statement. "Knowing and loving her has been our joy and privilege. She was one of a kind, beautiful, generous, and possessed a brilliant sense of humor and a glittering spirit that everyone loved."
