Chicken Bread

Chicken Bread, Chicken Food, Spicy Snack

Ingredients:

  • Dough Preparation:
    • 1 Tsp Salt
    • 1½ Tsp Yeast
    • 1½ Tsp Sugar
    • 5-6 Tsp Oil
    • ¼ Cup Milk
    • Warm Water As Required
  • Chicken Preparation:
    • Oil
    • 2 Tbsp 250 Grams Chicken Mince
    • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper Powder
    • 1 Tbsp Soya Sauce
    • ½ Cup Capsicum (Chopped)
    • 2 Tbsp Butter
    • 1 Cup Spring Onion(Chopped)
    • ¼ Cup Flour
    • 1 Cup Milk
    • 1 Tsp Salt
    • 1 Tsp Crushed Red Chili
    • 2 Cheese Slice
    • 1 Egg (for washing)
    • 2-3 Pinches Kalonji

Instructions:

  1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add 250 grams of chicken mince.
  2. Add 1 tbsp of black pepper powder, 1 tbsp of soya sauce, and ½ cup of chopped capsicum. Cook for a few minutes until the capsicum becomes soft. Set aside.
  3. For the Sauce:
  4. In a separate pan, melt 2 tbsp of butter and add 1 cup of chopped spring onion. Cook until the onions become soft.
  5. Add ¼ cup of flour and cook for a minute.
  6. Gradually add 1 cup of milk and whisk continuously to avoid lumps.
  7. Add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of crushed red chili. Cook until the sauce becomes thick.
  8. Now add Chicken Mixture in this sauce and mix well.
  9. To Assemble:
  10. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  11. Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape
  12. Spread the chicken filling evenly over the dough.
  13. Place 2 slices of cheese on top of the chicken filling.
  14. Fold the sides of the dough towards the center and seal them.
  15. Brush the top of the dough with a beaten egg and sprinkle some kalonji on top.
  16. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the bread turns golden brown.
  17. Slice and serve hot.
