2022- The Year of Crunch Declares Frito-Lay's

Frito-Lay has around 1100 various snacks under the umbrella. The PepsiCo-owned snack company has a variety of the world's favorite snacks that kids and adults love equally. However, other than the steep sales figure that Frito-Lay records the company also takes opinion polls from the consumers to make products better.

Last year, their research showed around 80% of both Millennials and GenZ consumers preferred spicy snacks while they watched sports. However, this year consumers had another factor in mind. the sourcing and sustainability led to their buying patterns of snacks.

At the year-end 2022, the new trend compilation shows Americans want a crunch factor in their snacks. Frito-Lay crowned 2022 the "year of crunch," after 71% of quiz respondents answered as crunch is the single most important factor when buying snacks.
