Starbucks Introduces Nitro Cold Brew

Starbucks is introducing a new Nitro Cold Brew flavor, inspired by the classic breakfast treat, cinnamon rolls. The Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew will join the permanent menu of US stores from March 7, 2023. The new drink is made up of Nitro Cold Brew Coffee, swirled with two pumps of cinnamon caramel syrup and topped with cinnamon-flavored sweet cream cold foam and a dusting of cinnamon dulce topping. Starbucks claims the new flavor captures the flavor of "ooey gooey cinnamon roll bliss in every sip." The Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew is created by infusing normal cold brew coffee with nitrogen gas with a tap system, making it feel creamier and smoother than iced coffee.

High Calories For Weight Watchers

The drink is higher in calories than the original Nitro Cold Brew due to the cinnamon caramel syrup and the sweet cold cream. A grande size contains 265 milligrams of caffeine, comparable to a dark roast black coffee and around 40% more caffeine than a same-sized iced coffee.



Availability

The drink is now available at all Starbucks locations where Nitro Cold Brew is sold. Starbucks beverage developer, Erin Marinan, said the Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew is a "lovely balance of decadent baking flavors with a delicate and creamy cold foam topping that seamlessly blends into the coffee with each sip."
