Fasting is pivotal for Muslims, they celebrate it in the month of Ramadan. However, most of the new generation is worried about how to stay productive during Ramadan. During this month, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk and engage in spiritual activities such as reading the Quran, performing extra prayers, and giving to charity. However, observing Ramadan can be a challenge, especially for Muslims living in non-Muslim countries like the United States. In this article, we will discuss some tips on how to have a productive Ramadan in the USA.

The key to a productive Ramadan is to plan. Muslims in the USA should start preparing for Ramadan early. This includes stocking up on food and other essentials before Ramadan starts so that they don't have to worry about shopping during the month. It also means planning their schedule around prayer times and other spiritual activities.

Saman, a single mother of a Muslim family in the USA plans their meals by creating a weekly menu and shopping for groceries ahead of time. She also sets aside time each day for prayer and Quran recitation and makes a schedule for attending mosque events with her kids.

Connect with the Muslim Community

Ramadan is a time of community, and Muslims in the USA should try to connect with other Muslims in their area. This can be done by attending mosque events, if possible, or by reaching out to Muslim neighbors or coworkers.

Fasting during Ramadan can be challenging, especially in the summer months when the days are longer. Muslims in the USA should take care of their physical health during this time by eating healthy foods and staying hydrated.

Finally, anywhere in the world, the core factor for a Muslim is to embrace the spiritual journey that Ramadan represents. This means focusing on the spiritual aspects of Ramadan, such as increasing one's devotion to God and improving one's character.

There is community work and help for the elderly irrespective of their faith. More tolerance and less hate speech that one practice to show how Ramadan is a soul-cleansing procedure.
