The possibility of a second season of the Sex and the City revival has us suddenly thrilled or horrified. Whether or not you liked seeing Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte again in their fifties, all fans of the original show undoubtedly enjoyed seeing Bradshaw's clothing again.

Of course, the original, somewhat contentious classics (mini skirt with bustle, anyone? ), remain her most well-known costumes. However, And Just Like That did produce some excellent fashion moments, including a pretty stunning Norma Kamali dress. For a breakdown of Carrie Bradshaw's most iconic looks, both old and new, continue reading.

THE TUTU

This outfit will be recognizable to even those who are unable to recite any Sex and the City episode verbatim. In the opening sequence of the show, Carrie wore a tiered tutu, a pale pink tank top, and strappy shoes. This was officially her first outfit, and it set the tone for the rest of the episode. Costume designer Patricia Field stated many years ago that she obtained the tutu from a showroom bin and paid only $5 for it.

THE COWBOY HAT

For the majority of people, the Hamptons conjure images of well-kept lawns, immaculate white homes, and blue swimming pools. But Carrie supposedly saw a perfect opportunity to write her homage to the Wild West during her visit to the millionaires' beachside hideaway. Ms. Bradshaw meets Mr. Big and his young girlfriend Natasha in Season 2, Episode 17, while sporting her fabled "Carrie" necklace and a python-print breast tube, striped sarong, and cowboy hat. Her choice of chapeau seems fashionable once more in light of Alessandro Michele's Love Parade Gucci show. Surely this is how you style your hair on a long face with a hat!

THE NEWSPAPER DRESS

Angie Schmidt wore the renowned newspaper dress designed by John Galliano for his autumn/winter 2000 Christian Dior catwalk show, while SJP went on to serve as the unofficial face of the garment. In season 3 episode 17 of SATC, "What Goes Around Comes Around," when Carrie runs across Natasha in a restaurant once more, she is wearing mentioned SATC classic (and is relieved of her Manolos by a particularly enterprising mugger). Later, as seen above, Carrie wore the same outfit again in the much-maligned sequel to Sex and the City. No problem if you are in your thirties, this is the way to dress in your thirties, unapologetic and sexy!

THE REVENGE DRESS

Many of Carrie's outfits could be categorized as "revenge dresses" given her tumultuous love life. But when she sees Big exiting his engagement party, she is wearing a white, bias-cut slip (season 2, episode 18). A sentimental Bradshaw decides to quote lines from the famous 1973 film The Way We Were when she runs across him after the Fabulous Four compares Big and Carrie's love tale to that of the same name. Iconic. Have a look at how the naive SJP has transformed into a graceful diva with her style!

A MINI SKIRT WITH A TWIST

The tulle bustle on Carrie's green satin miniskirt by Vivienne Westwood was the epitome of "business in the front, party in the back." Bizarre? Yes, but Carrie managed to make it work. She wore the aforementioned tiny along with a dapper button-down shirt and cherry-red stilettos.

THE FLORAL MIDI DRESS

Since Carrie and Big surprise each other by jumping into the boating pond at Central Park, two variations of this floral midi dress from Richard Tyler's Resort 2001 collection were used in the episode. One of the costumes was donated to Museums Victoria in Australia after being previously displayed with pride in SJP's private archive. The other outfit was auctioned for charity in 2001.

THE NAKED DRESS

Carrie looks perfect for a first date (season 1, episode 6). She used the revealing DKNY slip, known as the "naked dress," for a photo shoot to promote her newspaper column before the Kardashian-Jenners appeared scantily dressed on the Met's stairs. Later, she decided it was appropriate for her first date with Big. We are all aware of what followed. Nude is never wrong, take a cue from Sarah Jessica Parker's style evolution on the show and be a classy hot mess!
