Parker portrayed the adored character from the hit HBO series "Sex and the City" from 1998 to the early 2000s. Thanks to costume designer Patricia Field, her character's iconic style, her never-ending collection of designer shoes, and her many memorable quotes ("Wait, I lost my Choo!"), she became a cultural icon.

As a result of Parker's character's prominence as a fashion icon, many people perceived her style as being somewhat similar to her character's. By establishing her brand, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, in 2014, Parker, like her character, shares her penchant for heels and doesn't shy away from the spectacular couture gown.
Although Parker has her unique flair, she is not new to paying respect to her well-known persona. About a renowned scene in "Sex and the City" where Bradshaw wore mismatched pink and blue Christian Louboutin heels, the actress attended the New York City Ballet Fall Fashion Gala last September wearing a voluminous hot pink Zac Posen gown and mismatched gold and pink heels from her shoe line.
Today, we have rounded up some of her most iconic looks over the years.

Imagine Sarah Jessica Parker getting into the Hollywood scene in the early 1980s. The young actress's breakthrough role on Square Pegs, which ran from 1982 to 1983, gave her her first significant television role. Sarah rocked a hat later on SATC clearly the right way to style a long face!

The 80’s Vibe

Girls Just Want to Have Fun was Sarah's first acting role, and she carried the film's spirit onto the red carpet. The mound of curly hair, cat-eye sunglasses (worn at night), and huge tuxedo jacket scream rising celebrity. Her other well-known appearances from 1987 were as impressive. This is how women wear a blazer to work and look sexy!

The Bra & Blazer

SJP's 1987 attire was largely comprised of oversized blazers. The 22-year-old was photographed in the photo below at The Palace in Hollywood, California, at the Slamdance premiere party. Sarah complemented the jacket with a bra, high-waisted leggings, and other obvious signs that she was not afraid to expose a little skin.

The Sequined Girl

Sarah ditched the big look by 1991 in favor of a cropped jacket covered in tonnes of sequins. She wore the tiny garment with a gold bra and high-waisted velvet leggings, proving that some things never change. And when you add in her unruly, cool curls, we're in awe.

The Dainty Moment

Even though we hadn't yet seen Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Hollywood was in awe of her by 1995. On June 4, 1995, in New York City, the starlet was present at the 49th Annual Tony Awards, as seen in the picture below. SJP had a sizable filmography by that point.
In addition to L.A. Story, the actress had roles in Striking Distance, Hocus Pocus, Honeymoon in Vegas, and Ed Wood. Additionally, SJP's fashion sense was evolving along with her professional career. The starlet's variety when it came to her style started to catch the attention of fans and fashion enthusiasts, and they would soon see more of it.

The SATC Premiere

When Sex and the City debuted, SJP was already well-known in Hollywood, but as we all know, the success of the show catapulted her to an unfathomable level of stardom. And right away, Sarah appeared to be the ideal actress to portray Carrie Bradshaw on television. The initial screening of the show was no different.
Parker dressed differently than her on-screen counterpart, sporting a blush-colored top with a baroque-printed skirt. At the Loews Theatre red carpet in New York City, where Sex and the City had its premiere, the regal yet seductive style caught everyone's attention.

The Pink Emmy’s Look

In 2000, SJP donned a lot of glam and Carrie-inspired outfits, and the 52nd Annual Emmy Awards was no exception. The actress, who was up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, looked sexy and urban in an all-pink outfit.
The ballerina-inspired spaghetti-strapped dress included a plume skirt and an unusual arm accessory: a fabric blossom with a dramatic trail dropping off Sarah's arm. With her well-known smile, the actress completed the Oscar de la Renta ensemble.
